DAY 1: AIRPORT PICK UP - AREQUIPA CITY TOUR
Upon your arrival in Arequipa, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport or bus terminal to transfer you to your hotel.
In the afternoon, we will begin a tour of the main attractions of the White City of Arequipa. We will visit the Carmen Alto Viewpoint, from where you can enjoy a privileged view of the volcanoes surrounding the city: El Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu, as well as the traditional pre Inca agricultural terraces.
We will continue to the Yanahuara Viewpoint, famous for its elegant sillar arches and spectacular view of Misti Volcano. Then we will walk through the traditional San Lázaro Neighborhood, one of the oldest areas in the city.
The tour also includes a visit to the San Francisco Church and Square, the Cloisters of the Company of Jesus, with its impressive finely carved sillar architecture, and the historic Tristán del Pozo Mansion, a jewel of 18th century colonial architecture.
Optional visit: the emblematic Santa Catalina Monastery, considered one of the most impressive religious complexes in Peru, famous for its colorful streets, squares, and cloisters reminiscent of ancient Spanish cities.
At the end, return to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free to enjoy the local gastronomy or explore the city at your own pace.
DAY 2: AREQUIPA - CHIVAY - LA CALERA HOT SPRINGS
To begin this experience, we will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 a.m. and head toward the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, crossing the Pampas Cañahuas and bordering the imposing Chachani Snowcapped Mountain.
Within the reserve, we will observe South American camelids in their natural habitat, such as vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas. In the wetlands of Tocra, we will appreciate various high Andean and migratory birds, including flamingos, Andean gulls, and wild ducks. During the journey, we will also pass the craters of an extinct volcano until reaching the Volcanoes Viewpoint (4,800 m.a.s.l.), where you will enjoy a privileged panoramic view of the Western Mountain Range.
We will continue to Chivay, where we will enjoy a comforting lunch and check in at the accommodation.
In the afternoon, you may relax in the thermal waters of La Calera, whose waters reach up to 38 °C, in an open air natural setting. In the evening, optionally, you may enjoy a folkloric show featuring typical dances from the Colca, such as the traditional Wititi.
DAY 3: CHIVAY – CONDOR CROSS – CHIVAY - AREQUIPA

From this natural viewpoint, you can also appreciate the Colca River and the impressive agricultural terraces over a thousand years old, while learning about the history of the cultures of the Colca Valley that inhabited and still inhabit the valley.
On the way back to Chivay, we will stop in the traditional Andean villages of Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque, where the colonial Santa Ana Church stands out, as well as at the viewpoints of Choquetico and Antahuilque, from where ancient tombs and pre Inca remains can be observed.
Upon arrival in Chivay, we will enjoy a buffet lunch and then begin the return journey to Arequipa, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m.
